Daily Face #3

I've been a little quiet on here for a couple of weeks due to the hideous number of deadlines I've had, however they are now over! (For a couple of weeks anyway).

Today I decided to do a totally high street/drugstore face using...
Seventeen Pwoarr Paint
Seventeen Flawless Poreless Primer
Bourjois Healthy Mix Radiance Reveal
Revlon Colorstay concealer
Bourjois Healthy Mix powder
Natural Collection blush in Pink Cloud
Gina Tricot eyeshadow in Champagne
L'Oreal Telescopic Waterproof
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe

The Seventeen bits are new additions to my makeup drawer, but I really like them so far.  I find the Phwoarr Paint is brilliant for undereye circles (Lord knows, I'm permanently blue around there) and it's a lighter shade than my favourite Make Up Store Cover All Mix so is a little more brightening and I find the Flawless Poreless Primer does exactly what it says.  I've never tried anything like the Benefit Porefessional so I've got nothing to compare it to, however I just dab a bit this onto my pore-y areas either side of my nose and I swear they are much less visible now.  A total impulse purchase but it's love!  The Bourjois bits are some of my every day staples, as is a smudge of the Colour Tattoo under the eyes.   The Natural Collection blush is one of my favourites for a no-frills flush and is totally matte, unlike most of my other blushes.  The Gina Tricot eyeshadow was a total steal and something that I've been constantly reaching for.  There's not too much fallout and it's wonderfully sheer yet buildable.  My tube of Telescopic Waterproof is looking decidedly worse for wear and I love how this stays in place all day and holds a curl with the added benefit of being totally weather proof - very handy as England is more of a marsh than anything else at the moment!

What bits have you been reaching for at the moment?

  2. I so want to try the Seventeen primer, but I think that you get what you pay for with primers so I do avoid cheap ones haha!
